Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2026: Seven Fantasies, A $50 Million Fantasy Bra, And The Seductive Art Of Contemporary Femininity

October in Los Angeles is a shimmering, late-summer fever dream: a surreal intermission in which the Pacific sun clings to the coastline while autumn whispers through the palms.

The city exhales its sweltering summer heat, surrendering to the intoxicating drama of the Santa Ana winds, those warm, electricity-laced gusts that sweep down from the high desert, fanning golden dusks across skies streaked with violent violet and blazing amber.

The air seems infused with dried sage, ocean salt and roasted coffee, an addictive elixir of restless ambition and languid sensuality.

Here, glamour rarely announces its arrival quietly. It glides between ivy-clad Venice patios, cinematic premieres and Malibu’s twilight shores, before the metropolis dissolves into a constellation of neon lights and velvet shadows. Los Angeles does not surrender summer so much as prolong its most delicious fantasies.

And on 18 October 2026, at Sony Pictures Studios, Victoria’s Secret transformed that unmistakable Californian energy into something gloriously larger than life.

Backstage, anticipation was almost tangible. Makeup artists perfected luminous complexions; hairstylists coaxed every strand into place; dressers navigated racks of silk, lace, satin and glittering embellishment. One by one, the models stepped into their designated fashion fantasies, before their extraordinary Angel wings were ceremoniously secured to their backs.

More than accessories, these elaborate constructions became the crowning punctuation to each look, transforming the women wearing them into living embodiments of the Victoria’s Secret imagination.

Elsewhere, four musical headliners — Megan Moroney, KATSEYE, Megan Thee Stallion and Tate McRae — prepared to bring their own formidable energies to the spectacle. Yet one moment promised to command a particularly delirious share of the evening’s attention: Kylie Jenner’s appearance in the long-awaited Fantasy Bra, created in collaboration with Jacob & Co.

Outside, cameras flashed as celebrities and invited guests arrived. It was a familiar Los Angeles ritual, perhaps, but Victoria’s Secret possesses the rare ability to turn an evening of celebrity arrivals into an occasion that lingers in the fashion imagination long after the last photograph has been taken.

The 2026 collection unfolds across seven chapters, each offering a distinct interpretation of femininity. In Spring Awakening, delicate lace, silk-and-lace corsetry, green chiffon and cascading faux-floral wings evoke a romantic garden in full bloom.

Vintage Victoria follows with silk-chiffon slips, satin, ruffles, asymmetric hems and bow-back lingerie, rediscovering the intimacy of boudoir dressing through a contemporary lens.

Then comes Summer Fever, a heady collision of metallic Lurex, glass beads, crystal chainmail, embellished denim and iridescent palm-frond wings. Its futuristic glamour gives way to the spirited irreverence of the PINK Halftime Show, where varsity jackets, velour, denim, sequins, charm belts and miniature dog-shaped bags inject youthful exuberance into the proceedings.

The atmosphere deepens with Autumn Changes, an opulent study in rose lace, velvet embroidery, sculptural corsetry, gold-foiled lace and liquid organza. Winter Melody turns towards frosted luminosity, with silver, white, pearls, crystals, translucent tulle and feather-inspired constructions.

Finally, Winter Reprise brings the fantasy to its resplendent climax, uniting elaborate wings, crystal-encrusted lingerie and the return of Victoria’s Secret’s most legendary showpiece.

What distinguishes the collections is their attention to finishing. Hand-beaded skirts, pavé earrings, diamanté body chains, embroidered corsets and intricate lacework elevate familiar lingerie silhouettes into something approaching wearable theatre. Metallic surfaces catch the light; chiffon trains float behind the body; sculptural wings create movement with every step. And, in a considered detail, the show confirms that no real feathers were used in its production.

The runway’s power lies equally in its casting. Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Joan Smalls and Barbara Palvin reconnect the spectacle with its supermodel heritage. Alongside them, Ashley Graham, Paloma Elsesser, Alex Consani, Anok Yai, Liu Wen and other international talents contribute to a broader representation of beauty, body shapes and skin tones.

Solange Omon’s debut is especially meaningful. Selected from more than 100,000 hopefuls through the Angels Among Us casting initiative, the 21-year-old Cameroonian model, who lives in Maine, earned her place as Victoria’s Secret’s newest Angel.

Her journey, documented through the brand’s YouTube series, offers a more contemporary route into fashion’s rarefied modelling world, one built around discovery, ambition and personality.

The message is compelling: femininity need not conform to a single silhouette or complexion to command the spotlight. Its allure lies in individuality, confidence and the freedom to inhabit one’s own vision of beauty.

Music is integral to the experience. Country-pop performer Megan Moroney, global girl group KATSEYE, rapper Megan Thee Stallion and pop artist Tate McRae bring four distinct musical identities to the runway. Their presence connects fashion with contemporary popular culture, extending the show’s appeal beyond its established audience.

Each performance contributes to the evening’s larger emotional register: exuberant, sensual, unapologetic and alive with possibility. The result is a dialogue between sound, movement and fashion, in which the lingerie becomes part of a broader visual performance rather than the sole focus.

The grandest expression of this philosophy arrives with Kylie Jenner and the return of the Fantasy Bra, the first since 2018. Created with renowned jeweller Jacob & Co., the reported US$50 million masterpiece features 4,410 natural diamonds, including a 75.54-carat Fancy Vivid yellow diamond.

Inspired by Jacob & Co.’s Rare Touch collection, its articulated precious-metal construction is designed to move with the body, bringing jewellery’s extraordinary craftsmanship into conversation with the intimacy of lingerie.

Yet the most interesting development is that the fantasy need not remain on the runway. Victoria’s Secret is offering customers the opportunity to shop iconic show-inspired styles, including a limited-quantity Very Sexy Shine Fantasy Bra, alongside exclusive Backstage Fashion Show merchandise. Availability varies by market and while stocks last.

To furrher understand the inevitably luscious and irresistible appeal of Victoria’s Secret, one has to dive deep into uts foundation roots. Founded in 1977 by Roy Raymond, Victoria’s Secret began with a San Francisco lingerie store and grew into an internationally recognised lifestyle brand.

Its first fashion show followed in 1995, with televised broadcasts subsequently transforming the event into a global entertainment phenomenon.

Over time, the runway became a launchpad for modelling careers and a potent intersection of fashion, celebrity, music and spectacle. Yet the brand’s evolution has not been without criticism, particularly over narrow beauty ideals and the pressures associated with its former Angels image.

Its more recent casting initiatives represent an attempt to broaden that legacy without abandoning the glamour that made it famous.

This is where Victoria’s Secret’s commercial proposition becomes most fascinating. A lace merrywidow, a beautifully constructed bra or an iconic Bombshell fragrance may be an everyday purchase, but the emotional appeal extends beyond utility.

These products invite women to participate in a carefully cultivated world of sensuality, indulgence, intimacy and self-expression — one that can feel luxurious without requiring ownership of a couture wardrobe or a diamond-encrusted fantasy.

Of course, confidence cannot be purchased in a bottle, nor can empowerment be guaranteed by a piece of lingerie. But clothing can influence how a woman chooses to present herself, and the pleasure of dressing for one’s own gaze is no less meaningful than dressing for another’s.

That, ultimately, is the enduring allure of Victoria’s Secret: the proposition that femininity can be playful, sophisticated, provocative, tender or spectacular, according to the woman inhabiting it.

In Los Angeles, beneath a sky that refuses to relinquish its last golden light, the 2026 Fashion Show celebrates precisely that freedom. Its most enduring fantasy is not the wings, the diamonds or even the spectacle itself. It is the possibility of feeling entirely, unapologetically oneself — and looking magnificent while doing so.
