The result is one of Winter 2026’s most intellectually alluring collaborations: Longchamp’s first capsule collection with Caroline Hélain, where the maison’s celebrated leather savoir-faire embraces the meditative beauty of contemporary textile art.

For generations, art has quietly accompanied Longchamp’s story. This season, however, it becomes the destination itself.

Hélain creates nine exclusive landscapes for the maison, each rich with subtle textures, nuanced colour transitions and delicately interwoven forms suggesting windswept dunes, dramatic cliffs and endless skies. Rather than merely printing her work, Longchamp reinterprets it through extraordinary craftsmanship.

The Daylong bags become moving canvases. Intricately layered leather pieces are painstakingly stitched by artisans to recreate the artist’s tactile compositions, elevating both the mini bag and spacious weekender into collectors’ objects destined for journeys both imagined and real.

Across sumptuous knitwear, Hélain’dreamlike terrains unfold as immersive panoramas, enveloping oversized sweaters and elegant long dresses in painterly compositions that seem to breathe with movement. 

The collection reaches its emotional crescendo in a sleeveless calfskin top where supple leather meets bouclé virgin wool, conjuring rolling sand dunes beneath vast blue skies through astonishing material contrasts.

Even Longchamp’s nomadic essentials become vessels for artistic contemplation. Silk scarves, cashmere squares, pocket T-shirts and Le Pliage Collection cotton canvas totes arrive in a restrained mineral palette of Olive, Thistle, Caramel and Ballet—earthly tones that whisper rather than shout, inviting prolonged admiration.

“My artistic practice exists at the boundary between figuration and abstraction,” reflects Caroline Hélain. “My collaboration with Longchamp has given me, for the first time, the opportunity to extend the landscapes I create onto the scale of the body. The idea that my horizons can follow the move, enveloping the entire silhouette, feels deeply meaningful to me.”

Delafontaine immediately recognised the rare harmony between artist and maison.

“Season after season, I love to seek out creative talents. When I discovered Caroline Hélain’s work, I was fascinated not only by its sensibility, but also by its precision technique. Both these dimensions speak to the creative curiosity and the savoir-faire which have always defined Longchamp, making this a natural collaboration for Winter 2026.”
